NICK TIPPETT, PARTNER, PKF FRANCIS CLARK

Nick is a partner in the corporate finance team at PKF Francis Clark. He focuses on business sales, management buyouts, acquisitions and both debt and equity finance raising.

Nick has a particular interest in working with unquoted businesses and helping them develop and achieve their strategic goals; whether this is raising finance to implement growth plans, undertaking an acquisition, assisting with succession planning or achieving a sale/exit from the business.
Nick has led transactions across a wide range of business sectors, from branded retail to manufacturing, tourism and advanced technologies. Nick has a clear focus on helping businesses, an innovative approach to challenges and strong commercial awareness. Together, his experience and approach have resulted in a high transaction success rate.

JAMES JORDAN, HEAD OF SOUTH WEST CORPORATE BANKING, BARCLAYS

James Jordan is head of South West, Barclays Corporate Banking. James leads a team of Relationship Directors operating through-out the region with offices in Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth and Truro.

The team very much focuses on having local Relationship Directors delivering sector specialist knowledge as a key part of supporting economic growth within our regional communities. James joined Barclays in 2023, having previously spent over 2 decades with HSBC UK, where he held a number of senior leadership roles across Corporate Banking.

Adam is a Partner in the Corporate team at Michelmores, advising on corporate and corporate finance matters, including private equity, venture capital (for both funder and company), mergers and acquisitions, MBO’s and MBI’s, disposals and joint ventures.

Adam’s practice operates across a broad range of sectors, however his particular sector focus is in private equity and venture capital transactions, acting for management teams, portfolio companies or funders and in particular acting for private equity houses on both their initial investment and subsequent acquisition strategy through their portfolio companies on their buy and build journey through to ultimate exit.
